About our home

Our newly built home is very spacious and modern. It has 4 bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. Downstairs there is a large kitchen, two living rooms, a very large sunroom and a study/library. We use the Sunroom as our dining room and it is a fabulous room in summer. We love to barbecue and our large garden is very suited for eating outside during the long Irish summer evenings.

More about us

  1. We are Padraic and Sarah, married with two girls(Clodagh 5yrs & Aisling 3yrs). Sarah is a school teacher and I work in financial services. We have both lived and worked in continental Europe and the US and love travelling and experiencing new things. We did our first home exchange in 2010 and had a wonderful time. We are very keen to do another one. We believe we live in a wonderful place and feel any fellow exchangers would thoroughly enjoy their holiday here.

We are situated in very beautiful scenic area close to the Sugar loaf mountain. We are approx 1km from Kilmacanogue village, 20 km from Dublin, 6km from Bray, 4km from Enniskerry and Powerscourt gardens and 10km from Greystones. There are lots of amenities for all age groups in the area such as hiking, mountain biking, swimming, shopping, golf etc. Within 10 minutes of the house there are several world class golf courses such as Druids Glen, Druids heath, Glen of the Downs, Powerscourt etc. We are also close to the sea with numerous beaches within a short drive. We are also 10 minutes from the sea and 25 minutes from Brittas bay. There is a frequent direct bus service from Kilmacanogue village to the Dublin city center and there is an excellent train service from Bray.
