About our home

Our beautiful holiday retreat is surrounded by fields of grazing cattle and sea view of the Atlantic. We are blessed with the most gorgeous sunsets in the living area . Books available for holiday chillaxing. We are a 5km drive from Kilkee Bay which is a beautiful blue flag horseshoe beach and about the same distance from the beach of Doonbeg (beside Trump's International Golf Hotel). This is a great beach for walking and attracts surfers from near and far. Activities include swimming, kayaking, diving,walking and cycling around the bog roads . There are plenty of scenic drives including the Cliffs of Moher. Kilkee and Doonbeg have many great eateries and pubs. Music and craic with a great holiday atmosphere to be enjoyed by all. The ferry to Kerry is also available for those wishing to complete the Wild Atlantic way.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Quiet and very relaxing with lots of activities to suit everybody's need. Plenty of great swimming places and walks for all age groups. Bike hire and boat hire and kayaking are just a few of the options available. Swallows and murmurings of Starlings can be enjoyed around the House during summer months sitting outside , Hares and the odd Fox will also be part of your viewing from time to time. Farmers will go about their business as normal as they prepare for the winter months. Doonbeg adventures offer a range of activities to suit all ages during the summer months. Sunset cruises along the Cliffs a must when the weather allows. Aran Islands are another must see after a 40 minute drive from the House. Leisure or active holidays are totally an option that can be enjoyed by all .

Cliff walks in Kilkee are a must. Organised walks and Burren exploration can be arranged.

Day tripping
Dolphin watching, sailing and fishing day trips along with the Ferry from Killimer. There are some lovely drives that can be done in a day also.
