More about us

  1. We are Oonagh and Mick, Oonagh is a university lecturer and I am a documentary film maker. We have two boys 19 and 16 but our 18 years wont be travelling with us. We are all non smokers. We have travelled extensively all over Europe, South and Central America, Asia and Africa. We have previously exchanged a number of times and very much enjoyed the experiences. We are relaxed, open and responsible people. We would look after your home as if it were our own.

Where is it?

A very quiet area on the edge of Galway city centre, just ten minutes walk into the centre of town, twenty minutes walk from beach. Plenty of good pubs with traditional music. Galway has lots of festivals, a film festival in early July, a two week arts festival the last two weeks of July and The Galway races, the biggest horse racing meeting in the country. Galway is the tourist capital of the west of Ireland and a vibrant and exciting small city and an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside.
