We are a family of four. Brian is a secondary school teacher and Miriam is a housewife. Brian is keen on history, languages, cinema and browsing in bookshops. Miriam swims all year round in the sea near our house and loves gardening and nature. Our daughters are 18 and 14 years old and are sports fanatics, in particular basketball and football.

Our small city of Galway is ideally located for touring the Burren, Aran Island and the wild romantic landscape of Connemara. We are 20 minutes walk from the beach, 15 form the city centre and 3 minutes from the nearest shops. We live in a quiet neighbourhood but in a very lively city with great music pubs, theatre and -in July- a famous arts festival. Galway will be European capital of culture 2020.
