About our home

Wake up every morning to views over the rooftops to Galway Bay and the Burren National Park. We live in a bright and spacious family home in the Salthill area of Galway city. We have a south facing kitchen with dining area, relaxing living room and separate kid's playroom. We have four bedrooms, 3 doubles and one twin. The two south facing bedrooms have seaviews. Our garden is south facing with a terrace, tables, chairs, sun loungers and a barbeque. We have plenty of toys and games both indoor and outdoor for kids.

More about us

  1. We are a family of four, Deirdre and Gilles and our two girls Lily (7) and Ella (5). We love travelling and experiencing new cultures. We have had three successful exchanges and look forward to many more. We love our home and living in Galway and hope to share it with someone who will enjoy it as much as we do. We all love living beside the sea and never tire of going to the Prom and looking over the Bay to the hills of the Burren.

Where is it?

Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, Salthill is a very vibrant part of Galway city, it has plenty of restaurants, pubs and the Promenade which is so popular with locals and tourists. Our house is a quiet residential area just a short walk to the beaches. On the city's doorstep is spectacular scenery, beautiful beaches, a huge range of outdoor activities, fantastic restaurants with the best fish and seafood you can find anywhere in the world, art galleries and artist studios to visit.
