“We were very happy to return to this lovely property for the second time. We enjoyed our stay in this excellent location. The bakery across the road is amazing and we managed a swim in the famous "40 foot". We enjoyed walking around the bay and watching the seals. Many local restaurants were open and access to Dublin or the wonderful Wicklow countryside is easy. Many thanks for your hospitality. Maria”

About our home
Our home offers the best of Dublin - just a minute's walk to the beach at Sandycove, 5 minutes walk to the delicious food shops and restaurants of Glasthule, 10 minute walk to the famous Dalkey village, only 20 minutes on the Dart (coastal train) to Dublin city centre or a 30 minute drive to the stunning Wicklow countryside.
A well-positioned Victorian terraced home enjoying great character and superb bright, light filled accommodation retaining many period features. The property has been upgraded and refurbished over the years and offers a wonderful home to visit Dublin from and enjoy. Sandycove was recently reported to be Ireland's most expensive neighbourhood to buy a house in but we promise it is also among Ireland's most relaxed - https://www.irishtimes.com/business/economy/revealed-most-expensive-places-in-the-state-to-buy-property-1.3157978
The house is villa style over basement, with lots of original features, comfortable high ceilinged sitting room, bright kitchen opening onto garden, 3 large double/twin bedrooms with family bathroom, study, playroom and utility. It is approx 1700 sq ft.
Well maintained front and back garden with table tennis and large trampoline for those times when you aren't at the beach or exploring the local area!
Car, kayak, paddle board and bikes included.

Cillian & Maeve's reviews
As a host (5)“The house was really lovely and very comfortable. It is in a great location to explore the Sandycove and Dalkey area with easy access to Southern Ireland by road. Very convenient for getting the train into Dublin and the airport bus if required. Great walks by the seashore and lots of good restaurants nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cillian was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Many thanks for letting us stay in your lovely house. Maria”
“We had a fabulous time at Cillian's house in Glenageary. It is perfectly located for access to the beach, and access to public transport (to the city). The house is large and comfortable with a lovely view onto the garden. It is also very well equipped. Communications with Cillian were excellent. We very much hope to return some day.”
“Cillian and Maeve were wonderful. Such nice people and really easy-going. Organizing the swap was easy with them and they were very quick to respond to all communications. Their house is absolutely beautiful, we were so delighted when we arrived to see it! A perfect place for a family with kids as there are loads of toys for the kids to play with and a trampoline in the garden too. The location couldn’t be better really. So close to the sea, which even in the dead of winter was great for blustery walks. Thanks Cillian and Maeve, we’d love to stay again! ”
“A fantastic stay and highly recommended. The house is stunning and in a great area of Dublin. We were made to feel very welcome by Cillian and his family. Thank you so much for letting us stay your house really is beautiful. ”
