Idyllic Large Stone Country/Beach Home on South Western Peninsula of Ireland

An idyllic country/beach home situated on the beautifully scenic Mizen Peninsula on the South West Tip of Ireland. The house is newly refurbished and provides an excellent opportunity to see the surrounding area which is one of the most popular tourist locations in Ireland. On the wild atlantic way, the house is less than 3km from Mizen Head Lighthouse which is the most southern tip of Ireland, We are located within walking distance of Barleycove beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Ireland and runs a surf camp throughout the summer which is great fun for adults and children alike. There are amazing local restaurants serving local food, and great local markets in Schull and Bantry, Schull and Crookhaven are nearby and are fantastic to visit. Bicycles can be rented nearby, and there are great kayaking opportunities. The house itself is completely private and peaceful, and is built on over 4 acres of land which include the remains of a famine village. You can walk though the fields to the beach as we do with our children for swimming and picnics. We have a range cooker and BBQ unless you would prefer to dine in the great local restaurants and hotel.
The house comprises two bedrooms and an upstairs attic which has been converted to a bedroom also. One of the rooms has bunkbeds which the kids just love!
