The house is large and spacious at about 2000 sq. ft. We have four bedrooms, three of which have en-suites. All bedrooms are en-suite. The house is warm and cozy. Our garden offers spectacular mountain views, great fun for children.

“We really enjoyed the exchange of house and car. Everything went well, no complaints at all! Chris picked us up from the airport. It was nice to get to know each other a little bit before the exchange. The house is located in a really quiet area, great especially for long walks in the Wicklow Mountains. We enjoyed also nice evening walks about 3 km to the local pub. On Wednesdays they have live music! We can really recommend house, location and family!”
Deirdre and I have been living here in Wicklow for over seventeen years. We have three children - Hannah (12) Luke (10) and Juliet (6). We both love travelling, hiking and relaxing at the end of a great day and we spend any chance we have out in the fresh air with the children. We have done several house swaps at this stage, everyone of which has been fantastic.
Our house is located in the heart of the Wicklow mountains so whether its hiking mountain trails, a game of golf, enjoying some of the excellent local restaurants or savouring a pint of Guinness in one of the local pubs there is plenty to choose from. For the kids apart from all the healthy fresh air there are great parks,beaches and activities close by. They can learn to ride a horse, surf or just enjoy the hiking. All of the families who have visited us have had children and everyone has really enjoyed their stay. Its a great base to explore. There is a train from the local village to Dublin city centre so you can easily visit the city and its attractions too.
