About our home

My home is in a beautiful location, on the famous "Ring of Kerry". It overlooks Kenmare Bay and the Caha Mountains. The house is spacious and pretty, with stunning views. There is a large garden full of all sorts of shrubs and trees and plants, lovely to sit in and listen to the birdsong.
It is very private with no near neighbours. The four bedrooms are all ensuite, 2 with king size bed and 2 family rooms with queen size bed and single bed. The sittingroom has open gas fireplace, and large window to take advantage of stunning view, tastefully decorated. Diningroom with table that seats 6 comfortably. Fully fitted kitchen which also has table and chairs. Sun Room, Utility Room with pantry, washing machine, dryer and chest freezer.

Neighbourhood

Kenmare, also know as Neidin , the little nest, is only 10 kms from my house. It still holds Village charm and is full of lovely cafes and shops. Fantastic restaurants, you will be spoilt for choice. As my house is on the Ring of Kerry scenic route, there is much to see and do if you like scenery and walking. Killarney is only 35 kms away, so driving throught the National Park is heavenly. The three penninsulas can be explored so easily on day trips. The Dingle Penninsula, Iveragh Penninsula and the Beara Penninsula are all stunningly beautiful. A day at Gleninchiquin would be a must, the waterfalls and the walks are just wonderful...like stepping back in time as it is unspoilt by modernity...food for the spirit.
Mucross house and Gardens, Direen Gardens, and Garnish Island are all closeby. If you like golfing, you will just love Ring of Kerry and Kenmare golf courses, both excellent. There is also river and sea fishing available locally.
