More about us

Myself [John] and my wife Ita have had this house for six years. We live in Dublin, and we bought the house in this region as our country retreat as Ita is a native of the area. We love the quiet life of the village to unwind, and relax. There are 2 pubs and one restaurant in the village and a small shop.

Where is it?

Keshcarrigan is a small traditional village on the canal linking the River Shannon with Lough Erne. Activities include fishing in one of the many lakes nearby or walking in the Slieveaniarann mountain range. The town of Carrick on Shannon is 10km distance and has a wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars. It is also possible to take a boat trip on the river. The surrounding counties of Sligo, Donegal, Cavan and Fermanagh are within approx one hours drive.
