About our home

Our Summer home is an Architect designed, 5 bedroomed house situated just accross the road from the lovely horseshoe bay of Kilkee on the west coast of Ireland. There is a large kitchen/dining room, separate lounge/conservatory, one double bedroom and bathroom with shower downstairs. There are 3 double bedrooms and one single bedroom upstairs, plus 2 bathrooms. We travel to Kilkee at least twice a month during the Winter and holiday there for about 8 weeks during the Summer. The house is a modern one with all mod cons- Sky, Flat screen tv, internet etc.

More about us

We are a married couple in our late fifties, Sean is Chief Executive of Clane General Hospital, and Gladys is Director of Nursing. We have 5 grown up children who will not be traveling with us. We now intend to travel extensively and enjoy ourselves. Our Kilkee Summer house is our second home so non simultaenous exchange is possible.

Kilkee is situated on the west coast of Ireland, 45 minutes from Shannon International airport and is an ideal base to discover the lovely rugged and beautiful West coast.
