About our home

Our beautiful home is a completely Restored 18th Century Manor house on 2 acres. The house oozes history and charm, space and privacy. During the renovation of the 4000 sq ft house, we installed undergound heating over beautiful stone and marble floors. Sympathetic to the age and original design yet modern and ergonomic. Each of the four bedrooms has an ensuite and there is south and north wing corridor separating 2 of the bedrooms. Perfect for teens and adults to have some quite time! The house was originally part of a large estate and it situated within walking distance of the city. There is so much to do and see in Kilkenny and is especially good for those who like architecture, history and cafe/bar culture. Music and festivals every weekend during the summer. 100 yards to our right us we have a driving range, followed by and a nature reserve called THE FEN. There is an outdoor activity centre within 2 mins walk and attached to that is a beautiful family run sports restaurant bar called The Orchard. This is all within 5 mins walk! You can walk 7 mins to Nolan Park our citys hurling arena, full of history, take a hurling lesson! Within 10 mins walk there is a fully serviced shopping mall with all the major chains for retail therapy if need be. We have a beautiful Hotel within walking distance (10 mins) called the New park Hotel that has a zoo and a full leisure centre, heated pool and gym. There are numerous places to visit in Kilkenny and it surrounds. The castle, the caves , the mines. It has everything! There is a front garden, side area and back garden for full privacy. The house can comfortable sleep 10 people but just as easy happy for 2 or 3 people. If space and architecture is what you want then this is your ideal place.
