About our home

My home is new and child friendly. We have everything you would need to make yourself feel at home. We have a nice size kitchen with attached dining room, a large dining table that sits 10. We don't have a large garden and I haven't had time to do much too it as I am very busy. It is a new house built in 2004 so everything is modern and in working order. Our bedrooms are spacious and 3 have double beds, my sons room has a single bed and thomas the tank engine all over the walls. I have a toddler bed and a large cot incase it is needed. I do not have pets and would not want any although I will exchange where there are pets to be looked after.

More about us

My son and I have just recently moved back to Ireland after many years in Barcelona I run an Art Gallery in Kilkenny. I have also worked for the Open University. I have a great love of Art and that would be where my heart lies although I am a definately a business woman first. I love cities and would especially be interested in visiting those. However i am open to suggestions. I want my son to see Europe now that he is opl enough to travel, he is a toddler.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Kilkenny is one of the best Citys in Ireland, there is so much to do and see. It is a medieval town so as you can imagine it is very beautiful and of course in true Irish fashion it is also very colourful. I live about 15 mins outside the town in a small village that is growing fast like all places near Kilkenny. There are wonderful pubs and restaurants to go to and the nightlife is excellent. As for shopping everything you want is here.
If you like fishing we are right on the Nore river a fishermans dream. if it is golf you are after, mount julliet is very near, Kilkenny golf club is 10 mins away. Horse lovers will be very happy too with several places you can go.
Kilkenny is also the Art capital of Ireland. What can I say except after spending many years in Barcelona, I can still say I am very very happy to live in Kilkenny.
