About our home

Our beautiful home consists of a 2 story split level, 4 bedroom house in the twin lakeside towns of Ballina-Killaloe, on the Clare, Tipperary, Limerick border. The house, which has been featured in the interior design magazines, Upstairs Downstairs and Munster Interiors, features a large open plan kitchen/living room area with large balcony overlooking the Clare hills and Lough Derg. There is also a separate TV/play room with balcony. There are two double bedrooms on the upper floor. The master bedroom, and an additional twin room (children's bedroom) are situated on the lower floor. There is a large garden to the rear featuring a Canadian hot tub. The master bedroom has an ensuite marble bathroom with free standing hot tub.

Killaloe, County Clare, Ireland and Ballina, County Tipperary are situated on the banks of the River Shannon, and best known as the birthplace of Brian Boru (c. 941 - 1014), and High King of Ireland (1002 - 1014). While Brian was High King, he ruled from Killaloe making it the "Capital of Ireland."

The twin towns of Killaloe, Co Clare and Ballina, Co Tipperary are amongst Ireland's most picturesque attractions and are linked by a 13 arch bridge, which links not only the two towns, but also the counties of Clare and Tipperary.

Swimming: Take a dip in Lough Derg at Two Mile Gate (Ballycuggaran Beach), which flies the Blue Flag indicating that swimming is safely permitted.
