About our home

Our home is in a very beautiful part of Ireland, Killaloe in Co Clare. The apartment is beside our main house and was originally the "Foaling Stables" where many a great racehorse was born! It was completly renovated and refurbished in 2011, to a very high eco sustainable standard.
We are situated just under 1 mile or 1.07 kms from the lovely Village of Killaloe, full of wonderful restaurants, cafe's, music bars, traditional and more modern. The wonderful Lake, Lough Derg surrounds Killaloe, where fishing and just about every water sport can be arranged.
We are approx 40 mins from Shannon Airport and 5 kms off the main M50 motorway with access to all major cities.

We are now an older couple, all the children have.... more or less fled the nest, we remain very busy people who would love to travel a bit more in Europe.
