Newly renovated family vacation home

“I can’t imagine a better location to explore southwest Ireland than Sheilagh and Sean’s home in the lovely town of Killarney. We didn’t need a car since a short walk into town gave us many options for tours of Killarney National Park, Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry and the Gap of Dunloe. Each tour was unique and well organized. We learned so much about the history of the area and local customs. Each evening we came back to a beautiful home where we could relax on the back patio and fix a meal or go into town to one of the many fine restaurants. We especially enjoyed looking out the bedroom window in the morning and watching the cows grazing in the pasture below! Sheilagh was so helpful and attended to every detail. Staying here was a highlight of our trip!”

“We really enjoyed our swap to this beautiful house in Killarney. It was so easy to organise everything with Sheilagh and communication was brilliant the whole way through the swap. The house itself is a perfect “holiday house” with every modern convenience but with all the comforts of a lovely home. We have stayed in lots of hotels in Killarney previously and this was by far our favourite stay in the Kingdom, a true 5 star experience. We had the opportunity to live as locals and enjoyed all the beautiful walks that Killarney has to offer. Sheilagh and Sean were also perfect guests and you would be lucky to organise a swap with them! ”

“This was a wonderful experience from the very beginning to the end. Sheilagh & Sean's home is even better than we had hoped for. Location, comfort, communication, everything was perfect. The house is beautiful , homely and even though the weather was fantastic for our trip, we felt that the house would also be lovely on a wet day, it is bright and has an extremely snug sunroom where lying back with a good book, watching rain outside could be easily done. We could go on mentioning numerous positives but if you are lucky enough to do a swap with Sheilagh and Sean you will not be disappointed and for those unfamiliar with Killarney , it is a great holiday destination and this home is located within easy walking distance of everything, Thanks again for all and we would be delighted to swap again in the future with Sheilagh and Sean . “Sheilagh and Sean's house has the "wow" factor. It is absolutely pristine. We were so lucky that they agreed to swap. We had a great time in Killarney. The house is ideally situated for the National park . Sheilagh was very communicative and left us loads of info on what to do... “Sean and Sheilagh were the perfect hosts to organise an exchange with, the emails and messages between us were numerous and it felt like we had been friends with them for years. They were very friendly, flexible and so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Their beautifully renovated home is very well equipped with everything you could think of, it is comfortable and inviting; and just the ticket for a few days away for a home from home experience. The location was perfect for walking into the town and is ideally suited to explore the Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Lakes of Killarney etc. Kerry is indeed a lovely county with so many places to explore and to see some beautiful scenery. Sheilagh of course has everything in hand by giving loads of information about the area, where to visit and also recommended eating places.
