About our home

Our home is beautifully situated beside the sea in the pleasant surrounds of Killiney, County Dublin. There are wonderful sea views from the house, and at night you can often hear the waves on the beach from the terrace. The house has been tastefully converted from an old coach-house offering plenty of light and space. The kitchen has been designed to keep the most discerning of chefs happy!

In the garden there is a treehouse and a basketball court. A bike shed stores 4 bicycles for those who want to see the sights and on 2 wheels. A large stainless steel gas barbecue can host even the biggest outdoor feasts.

More about us

  1. We are Daryl and Roxanna, intrepid travelers who met 25 years ago in New Zealand. We have 2 daughters that keep us on our toes. Nisha is 16, and Sophie is 11. When we aren't running our fashion retail business we are often found in Wicklow, Daryl on his mountain bike, Roxanna walking the dogs, children with arms folded in the car!
We both love music, Daryl a keen guitar strummer, Roxanna even a keener foot tapper.

Where is it?

Killiney is a very scenic area of south Dublin. It offers rolling hills, large parklands, and some of the oldest trees in County Dublin. The beautiful Garden County of Wicklow is just a stone's throw away. Golf courses, tennis clubs, sailing and diving schools, are all within a mile or two from the house. Dublin's light rail, The DART, has a station 2 minutes from the house, where you can board a train which can bring you into Dublin city center in 30 minutes.
The historic and much-loved village of Dalkey is a 5 minute drive or a wonderful 30 minute coastal stroll. Dalkey is renowned for its restaurants, art galleries, boutiques, and most of all, for its pubs that serve up a tasty pint of Guinness.
