About our home

Our home is large and spacious. Underfloor heating all around with open fire in a cosy sitting room and an oil stove in the living room which is open plan with the dining room and galley like kitchen. Through the utility room we have converted our attached garage for childrens activity room. This is at the back of the house on the north side. There is one bedroom with en-suite down stairs. Three bedrooms upstairs, one en-suite, and the bathroom also. Airing cupboard is upstairs. All floors are wood. Decor and paint is clean, fresh and bright. Our garden is approximately 15 feet wide by 40 feet. Added to this is a smaller, raised, private garden area at the back or north aspect of the house. Here there is a child's swing and slide and a clothes line. Storage shed is situated at the end of the drive with bikes, portable gas BBQ and garden furniture. We are an easy three minute walk downhill to the town however the return journey can can be a slower affair.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 5. Both my wife and I are nurses working with people with Intellectual Disabilities. We have one teenage daughter and a teenage son and a 10 year old son. We enjoy walking, locally, on the beach and in the national park plus some hillwalking. Cycling is our favourite sport for the summer with lots of routes locally. My daughter loves drama, my eldest son is crazy about basketball and my youngest loves soccer, basketball and plays the keyboards.
