About our home

my home is only three years old. it is my pride and joy and i love my relaxing time in it. it contains a modern practical kitchen, a bathroom with a built in television a large master bedroom with a built in closet. it has a study, a snug and a main sitting room. it also has a guest bedroom on the downstairs floor and another upstairs. it is situated just three mile from Ardara which is a small village that was recently voted 'Best place to live in Ireland'. There is beautiful scenery here in this part of the world which makes it so peaceful and quiet. If you are interested I can give lots of advice on places to go nearby.

Where is it?

The neighborhood is very tranquil and quiet. There is an ancient ring fort located above the house on private land but guest are welcome to visit it at their own leisure to see the beautiful views it offers.
There are two villages close by. Glenties is a village that has been awarded tidy town winner several times. It has a museum, roddys bar and offers all amenities.
Ardara is a beautiful coastal town with award winning pub Nancy’s bar which offers daily fresh fish (it’s a must see).
Glengesh pass, maghera beach and caves, maghera waterfall, ardara tweed shops, heritage center and traditional Irish music in the corner house bar on most nights of the week.

The surrounding areas to the house also have exceptional attractions to offer.
Kilclooney dolmen, Naran beach, silverstrand beach, Kilkenny scenic drive, Glenveagh National Park, Slieve League sea cliffs, Glencolmcille folk village, doon fort and mount errigal.
