About our home
Our house was built in the early '90s. It's comfortable and spacious and nestles in a rural setting that is just 10 mins drive from Galway city. Downstairs there's a large kitchen/dining area, a TV room, sitting room with piano which leads into a pretty conservatory. There is one bedroom downstairs with a double bed and next to it is a shower and toilet. Upstairs has three bedrooms, all with double beds (2 of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms). Scandinavian pine floors throughout.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Our house is about five minutes drive to the outskirts of Galway, where there are
supermarkets; an hour to the heart of Connemara, an hour to the Burren with its wonderful flora and fauna and an hour to beautiful Westport. You can be at the Cliffs of Moher in about an hour and a half. Shannon Airport is an hour and a quarter away and Knock Airport an hour away to the North. You can be in the centre of Dublin in two and a half hours.
Galway is a buzzing tourist city with loads of very good restaurants and pubs where there are many music sessions both traditional and popular.
