About our home

Our home is a large spacious 5 bed split level bungalow set in a landscaped garden on 1 acre. We have a kitchen/family area with wood burning stove, and a separate dining room overlooking the back garden. There is a large sitting room with a wood burning stove which is an ideal room to relax with Oled 55' TV, Sky box, DVD and XBox.
We have high speed fibre broadband WiFi
Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms, main en-suite, all with wash basins and a large family bathroom with a power shower and whirlpool bath.
Downstairs is a games room with a pool table, dartboard, TV and gaming PC, also a WC and shower. The laundry room is fitted with a large washer and dryer.
There is a WC in the main hall.
Outside we have a large garden with covered area and BBQ.
There is a bus and tram a short drive (4 miles) that will take you into the city.
We also have a 7 seat jeep (Landrover Discovery) we can exchange.

Open for exchange for 2 to 4 weeks in summer but open to offers.

We would love a house with outdoor patio and a pool.

Paddy is a Builder and Val studies Pharmaceutical Bioprocessing. We have a dog called Bob who will be minded by friends.
We had our first exchange in Finland summer 2013.
Our second exchange Barcelona summer 2014.
Third exchange summer we were in Toulouse, France. 2015.
    Easter week in Copenhagen 2017.
Three wonderful weeks in Canada 2017
A week in Kerry, Ireland 2018
Fantastic week in Alkmaar, Holland 2019
We are looking forward to many more adventures in the future.

  2. We have not travelled since 2019 due to Covid and now feel comfortable to holiday again as we are fully vaccinated and boosted, and hopefully Covid levels will fall in the summer months as they have done since the pandemic started. Ireland is one of the most vaccinated countries in the world per head of population with 94% of over 12s fully vaccinated (January 2022).

  3. We would love a house with outdoor patio and a pool.
