About our home

Built in the 17th century this large home has recently been renovated to modern quirky specifications. Comfortable but vintage. Originally one large house, this has now been divided into 2 large homes, accessed from a shared porch. This house has a front door in the village green and a back door into a large shared garden, and hidden walled garden.

The village has a cafe, arts centre/theatre, four pubs, a church and 2 small shops. Kilworth woods is a kilometer away, great for walking, hiking and biikng. close to the country towns of Fermoy, Ballyduff and Lismore on the Blackwater Valley, Cork City 30 mins.

We have 2 small kids and have all that kids should need or want, including small bikes, adult bikes (electric with kids seats and trailer), wetsuits and surfboards for surfing or Canadian canoes for leisurely paddling on the local rivers. There is also a trampoline in the garden for the kids.
