About our home

From your pillow you can watch the constant spectacle of diving gannets in this exceptionally located seaside Georgian Cottage, right on the Wild Atlantic Way, the Warren is only 50 metres to the beautiful blue flag beach of Culdaff and a lovely mile long dander along the estuary to picturesque Culdaff village with its pubs (including McGrory,s music venue and restaurant) and shops.
Inside, this wonderfully atmospheric and sympathetically restored 200+year old house has 1 twin bedroom with seaview, a double with mountain view and the master bedroom with a 5ft double bed, a seaview and an ensuite. There is also a family bathroom upstairs. Downstairs there are two living areas-one a semi formal Drawing room with log stove and sofas and the other a general kitchen/dining/sitting room with another wood burning stove surrounded by a cosy club fender. The hand painted kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher , microwave, fridge and Nespresso Coffee machine. Heat is supplied by the stoves, electric wall heaters in every room and solar panels which heat the water. For returning swimmers there is a wet room fitted with a power shower,a bidet for sandy feet,a WC and a washhandbasin. This too is on the ground floor. A magical old house with all mod cons. There is a secluded south facing patio at rear with large garden.
