10 minutes from City to Wilderness. A newly renovated cottage with all mod cons. 4 bed, (2 doubles, 2 singles). Sleeps 6 (Even 8). Ideal location for a tour of the Lac Du Connemara. Visit Spiddle, Salthill or a €20 taxi from the City of Galway (The Greatest City in the World).
Just too much to take in. Too Beautiful. The house is even nicer.
Moycullen is a commuter town just 10 minutes outside of Galway City. It's 10 minutes from the biutiful surroundings of Connemara and 30 minutes from Clifden.
Take the back road and you can be in Salthill in 15 minutes or Spiddle in 10 minutes. It really is the middle of a web of activity if Connemara is your destination.
Or you can stay local and walk to the playground, the pub, or the biggest lake in the Republic of Ireland.
Shop is only 300 meters away. 5 pubs are within 400 meters and there are restaurants beside these pubs too and most of the pubs do food. The road to Lough Corrib is off Moycullen Village.
My favourite attractions in Connemara are Roundstone, Dogs Bay, Kylemore Abbey, Clifden, Cong (The Quiet Man Movie), Lough Corrib, Diamond Hill (Amazing hill walk), Connemara National Park (Reserve park), Letterfrack Visitors Centre).
The Best places to go, more towards Galway City, Salthill. It has a 3km promenade with a water park and plenty of bars and restaurants (O'Connors Famous Bar in Salthill, ask for Frank or Tom, they'll look after you).
If you go into Galway City, you'll be grated with the build up of arts and culture, while Galway braces itself, as it has been named European Capital of Culture 2020.
The home of traditional Irish music, food and drink. You'll never leave.
The Wild Atlantic Way passes by Mouycullen. Follow it south, for an hour, to The Cliffs of Moher or north to Killary Harbour.
(To be honest, I'd love to stay with you and give you the local mans tour guide, but ironically I'll be in your home instead!!)
