We offer a spacious home among rolling hills and ocean views on the west coast of Ireland. The house is appointed to allow maximum exposure to sunlight and spectacular views. We have three double bedrooms, one bedroom upstairs with large study and writers desk, and two bedrooms downstairs. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. There are wooden floors through out.
The living/dining room has an open working fireplace made from local Moher stone. There is a fully equipped kitchen with natural floor tiles with an ancillary storage room including, freezer, washing machine and extra refrigerator.
Our home is situated on a quarter of an acre of landscaped garden, with patio and spacious storage garage. We are located on a private country road with access to the ocean.
From inside our home, we look across Liscannor Bay, the famous Cliffs of Moher with O'Briens Tower, and the tip of Nags Head reaching out into the Atlantic. Sunsets are breathtaking with captivating cloud formations.
We (Bernard and Billy) are two professional gentlemen. Most of all we enjoy people who are different than ourselves and enrich our lives. We celebrate the arts and obviously with a home like this, the outdoors, particularly the ocean. We like to travel and have a great fondness for adventure.
We are ideally located to spend time visiting the world famous Burren National Park with its unique landscape, caves, neolithic tombs and its delicate and protected flora. Within a short drive of 15 minutes there are the well known Lahinch Golf Links, Cliffs of Moher, Doolin-capital of Irish Traditional Music where there is access by ferry to the beautiful Aran Islands, famously written about by J M Synge.
Local shops and some wonderful restaurants are in Lahinch,,Milltown Malbay, the market town of Ennistymon with its local farmers market on Saturdays. Each of these towns and villages are renowned for their music, art and literary festivals throughout the season.
There are numerous outdoor activities in the area such as; swimming, surfing, fishing, golfing, hiking, cycling, horse riding. It is an outdoor person's paradise.
