About our home
Our home is a large house (300 sq.m.) with gardens in the countryside, and only 5 minutes drive to Sligo town. The house is also less than 10 minutes drive from the beautiful beaches that run along the north-west coast. We are 45 minutes drive from Knock international airport.
Our home is on a quiet road in the beautiful Sligo countryside. We have 5 bedrooms with very large rooms in the house: kitchen, utility/laundry room, dining room, living room, sitting room, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 additional toilets, double garage. There are 2 adult bicycles and 2 children's bicycles (7-9 years and 11-12 years) which can be used. A family car (5 seater) will also be available to use.
Our home has large private gardens front and back with lots of lovely shrubs, trees and plants. We have a patio and BBQ area to the rear. It is beautiful to sit in and enjoy. Our home has lovely views over the countryside and mountains. The walks from the house are along lovely country lanes with views of the Sligo Bay as you reach higher ground. Ten minutes away, you will find beautiful swimming beaches and there are huge surfing and sailing community in the nearby Rosses Point and Strandhill villages.
The area is full of amenities (walking, hiking, tennis, sailing, surfing, horse-riding, cultural life etc). If you love outdoor life, then this is one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland to enjoy!
Sligo town is full of restaurants, cafes, pubs, galleries, good shopping, and is home to the Hawkswell Theatre and Model Niland gallery. There is live music every night in town (traditional Irish and jazz) and you will never be short of entertainment. The Garavogue river flows through Sligo town centre which makes it a very pretty summer town to enjoy. Sligo and its beautiful surroundings are also a walkers paradise and on the Wild Atlantic Way route around Ireland.

We love the outdoor life, walking, swimming, cycling as well as city life, art, cultural trips, good food and exploring.
