Our neighbourhood is great because you do every sort of activity close by. If you love foodie markets, open air concerts, use of free tennis courts and family festivals then Marlay Park is 5 mins drive or a leisurely stroll away. If you like cycling, mountain biking, walking and hiking, Ticknock Wood is literally situated across the road. Want to swim? The swimming pool is 10 mins away from us. Love to find out something about Irish history? St Enda's Park and House, formerly home of Patrick Pearse and his school is 15 mins drive away with a great picnic park, perfect coffee house and free museum tour around this wonderful house. You can also drop your car and get a Luas tram into the Dublin City Centre (35mins). The apartment also has a bus connecting to the Luas from where you can get into the city, the bus stop is 2 minutes walk from the house. Looking for something for the kids or your own fun adventure? An indoor skiing school, trampoline park, Airfield Farm and House, Imaginosity children's museum are a few minutes drive from the house. A Zipline adventure track and the famous Johnnie Foxes Pub are about 30 mins drive from the house. The best part? If you like the sea, Killiney, Dalkey and Dun Loaghaire Pier are all within easy reach. Love Irish gardens? Powerscourt Gardens, Avoca Weavers (great food and lovely craft items) and the Wicklow Mountains they are within easy reach, as well as Kildruddery House, which serves fantastic food from their own garden. Plus I have a few woodland walkways with stunning views over the coast and mountainside again close by (local secret). Love Golf and Pitch and Putt? Pay as you go pitch and putt and golfing for the family is again just a couple of minutes from here, I think there are about 4 just in the area.
