About our home

My third floor apartment is bright, comfortable, spacious and has recently been refurbished. It comprises a large living area with one end featuring full glass doors leading out onto a balcony which overlooks landscaped gardens and further to the Dublin Mountains. It has two comfortable couches, large tv/cable, music system, dining table and chairs. Off the other end of the living area there is a small but fully functional kitchen.

Down the hall there are two double bedrooms - one with en suite bathroom. There is also a separate second bathroom. The bedrooms are carpeted and big and bright with plenty of storage space.

More about us

  1. I work in publishing and have recently moved from the country back to the city where I grew up. I am currently enjoying taking full advantage of all the city has to offer. I have two adult children - both living in Dublin. I live here with my daughter, a physiotherapist, and we are both interested in visiting New York again having spent time there in the past.

I like to travel, visit art galleries and museums, go walking, go to movies, the theatre and eat out. I look after my apartment and would treat yours as I do my own.

Where is it?

Part of a secluded and well maintained development the apartment is situated in a leafy, popular suburb of Dublin. It is serviced by the Luas Green Line (light rail system) and numerous bus routes. The Luas is on the doorstep and brings you to the heart of the city - the Grafton Street/St Stephen’s Green area - in ten minutes. It is ideally located as a touring base and is within easy reach of bordering counties of Wicklow, Kildare and Meath.

There are various parks nearby and beautiful river walks beginning a few minutes away.
It is a ten minute walk from the village of Ranelagh which is a very popular residential area of the city where you will find an abundance of bars, restaurants, cafes - a buzzing nightlife and weekend spot. It is also close to other south side villages such as Rathmines, Rathgar and Dundrum, which boasts one of the largest and best shopping centres in the country. This is also a ten minute ride away on the Luas.

Dublin has myriads of museums, art galleries, shopping streets, theatres, cinemas, restaurants, bars, pubs, nightlife, parks, and fun free activities. It’s a friendly and compact city and is easy to negotiate your way around.
