About our home

Our house is well designed and very practical for a family. We have open plan sitting room/dining room/kitchen with many windows looking directly out to the garden. There are also French doors from this room to garden. The ground floor also has a Small laundry room and a Bathroom with bath and seperate shower. The TV room has a double wall bed and clothes storage space. The office has a baby cot at the moment but could be single room if needed. Upstairs are 2 very large bedrooms. One double room with ensuite bathroom (seperate bath and shower) The other children's room with 2 single beds and a cot. (Could be 3 beds if needed.) We have a large garden with plenty of space for children to play. A shed doubles as a play house with upstairs. Bikes and scooters stored here also. south facing Patio and garden furniture and kids furniture. swings and slides and trampoline and a small children's pool that can be filled if weather gets good.


More about us

  1. We are a family of 5. My husband, Charles works for himself. And I, Lorretta work for the kids! We have three daughters age 7,5 and 1. Will be 8,6 and 2 by next summer. We will be 40 and 45. The girls love dancing and swimming and being outside. I love travelling and Charles loves sport. We are all very outgoing and like meeting new people. This is our first exchange.

Where is it?


Our area is famous for horse riding with the curragh racecourse only 7 miles away.Kildare town is home of the National stud. It has a nice outlet shopping centre and a large supermarket. Monasterevan town 3 miles away is a small rural town with a river and canal passing through. There is also a nice forest walk here. There is supermarket for provisions. You can get the train to Dublin from either town.
Only 4 miles from the motorway you are in Dublin in an hour. Airport also about an hour. The beautiful wicklow mountains are also an easy drive.
Cork and Galway are 2 hours drive. So you can see much of Ireland From here.
