“We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautiful Georgian style home, with modern open plan kitchen/living, and stunning garden! Lovely to sit out in the evenings for dinner & a glass of wine. We dined out in Monkstown, a lovely village with trendy cafes & restaurants. Thanks Malcolm & family for a lovely stay!”

Malcolm's reviews
As a host (6)“We had the pleasure of staying in this stunning home for a long weekend recently and it was just wonderful!. While the photos are very nice they do not do it justice or convey the lovely "feel" of the house and the area. Having recently renovated ourselves, I was a little in awe of their renovation with lovely original features lovingly kept and restored while creating a beautiful, tasteful and tech savvy home for a modern family. But the house is also very comfortable, bright and spacious. Those windows and ceilings.... so lovely! The location is great - the ease of public transport, the lovely walks in the area, and a short stroll to a variety of really good restaurants and bars in the lovely village of Monkstown. Malcolm kept in touch in a very attentive but unobtrusive way and we felt totally at home for our few days in Dublin. We live in Cork and this is our 8th swap both here and abroad, and definitely one of our favourites. We would love to visit again in the future for Points or you are always welcome to come to Cork! Thanks so much Malcolm and to your family for sharing your home with us. Kindest regards Christine & gang x”
“We had a fabulous time at Malcolm's home in Ireland. This was the perfect base for us to see much of the country by renting a car and taking day trips. The house is just outside Dublin with a quick and easy train ride into the city. It is right near the water with beautiful parks, cafes, and shops in the neighborhood as well. One of our favorite experience was the Sunday food market in the park nearby, it was so fun! Although we didn't cook a thing, the home has a beautiful updated modern kitchen and an outdoor patio which would be perfect for meals in. The bathrooms are also newly updated and my partner was obsessed with the heated towel warmers. Malcom was the perfect host, checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, offering suggestions for fun things to do, and he rapidly responded with answers to any questions we had. Our fight was delayed out of our home city and we missed our connecting flight to Ireland. Malcolm was super accommodating and let us stay an extra night on the backend to make up for the night we missed which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend trading with him- this is a great house in a beautiful location and Malcolm made the entire experience very easy. It was fantastic!! Thanks Malcolm and family!!”
“Absolutely loved this house and the location, would highly recommend just beautiful.”
“We had a wonderful swap in Malcolm's stunning home, everything was perfect. Its a large beautiful family home, with a superb family dining area, garden and kitchen and we felt entirely at home during our stay. The location is wonderful for families as it close to the sea for walks, the dart to visit surrounding areas and the city centre, a renowned neighbourhood for good food and really safe for children. Malcolm's was very welcoming and excellent to deal with which made the trip seamless from beginning to end. If you are looking for a home away from home in Dublin we would 100% recommend Malcolm's home. ”
“Great location. It's a sort of a cul de sac. A few minutes walk to the Dart train which whisks you into Dublin city centre in a few minutes. Short walk to several village centres, e.g. Blackrock & Dunlaoighre. Loads of excellent pubs, cafes and restaurants. Very close to the seaside. Very large airy house. ~15ft ceilings downstairs. Very comfortable beds and large shower rooms. Lovely view of the park out the front windows. Spotted the local children playing hunt the Easter Egg. I think I'll request it for next Easter :) William”
