About our home

Our home is in Moycullen village, in a small old estate in the village. It's a small, bright and cosy house, with two bedrooms ( a double and a single), sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. The sitting room has a large, very comfortable double sofabed and there's the option of adding a camp bed in the single room that's perfect for children. We have a solid fuel stove that's wonderful to sit in front of. There's a small porch in front of the house looking on to our garden.

Where is it?

Our neighbourhood has lots of greenery with a woods behind it and Moycullen village has supermarkets, good restaurants, a great bookshop, pubs and cafes. Moycullen is just seven miles from Galway city but is also at the edge of Connemara, overlooking Loch Corrib. It's perfect for visiting Connemara (Moycullen is on the Clifden Road) with beautiful mountains, lakes and coastline and is also close to Galway city - it has the best of both worlds! Galway is very accessible from Shannon airport (approx 1 -1.5 hour's drive) as well as from Dublin airport (2-2.5 hours' drive).
