About our home

Hello! Our family home is bright and cheerful, artsy 3-Bedroom house that can sleep 6. It is part of a family-friendly housing development, 200m from the centre of Moycullen village. Moycullen is exceptionally well-placed for holidays: It is 10km from the beaches of Galway Bay at Furbo and Spiddle; 8ml from Galway City, and, 10km from the world-class salmon and trout fishing at Lough Corrib, and 10km from Galway city itself - the finest fun-filled tourism festival town in Ireland! Moycullen is therefore a perfect location to enjoy Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way along the West of Ireland: To the north-west you have the exceptional beauty of majestic Connemara's beaches, mountains, lakes, valleys and villages including the Connemara National Park at Letterfrack, Clifden, and Renvyle, all within an hour's drive. North leads to the trout and salmon fishing at Lough Corrib (15mins) and Oughterard. To the south lies Galway with its world-class tourism of restaurants, cafés, pubs and festivals, and, the Galway Bay/Connemara coast with beaches and characterful villages at Spiddle, Furbo and Carraroe. Further south past Galway are the world-famous Cliffs of Moher which are only 1.5 hours away by car through the stunning Burren limestone landscape and attractions around Kinvara, Ballyvaughan, Lisdoonvarna and Doolin. Moycullen is a modernised village but maintains its local charm in the older village cafés, restaurants and pubs. There is a bus service to/from Galway if you prefer not to use the car at times. Being on the Atlantic, the region can get rainy at times, but there is so much for all the family to indulge themselves in you'll have a unique experience in the West of Ireland with memories that will last a lifetime!
