Our home is a large former farmhouse located on the border of mullingar town. It has a sizeable country kitchen/diner, 2 good sized living rooms and a large bright conservatory opening out into a spacious private garden. It has 4 bedrooms sleeping 6 people. We have the best of both worlds living here, being both near the the busy town of mullingar and only ten minutes from nearby lakes and countryside.

I am a 63 year old semi retired business woman with 4 adult children who all live away from home. I love to travel and am keen to try this new way of seeing the world while offering others the chance to see our beautiful country. We are situated in a very central part of Ireland, only one hour from Dublin and approx one and a half hours from the very popular tourist city of Galway. Westmeath is a county known for its lakes providing good fishing and water sports. There are also many golf courses in the vicinity and the town itself offers good shopping and restaurants/bars.
