Our family home is situated 5 minutes (by car) from the town of Navan. The town is a vibrant hub, within the commuter zone of the capital, Dublin, approx. 50 minutes drive or hourly by public bus.
Navan is a thriving market town, providing all the necessary business amenities as well as tourist facilities, shopping, entertainment, sporting and numerous eateries catering for a wide range of tastes!
Our house is a generously sized family home on a half-acre site, renovated approx. 15 years ago to provide ample living space. There are four reception areas, a large kitchen/dining room (with utility off), spacious hallway with downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs, there are five bedrooms, 3 doubles (2 ensuite), 1 twin (with whb) and 1 single with a family bathroom besides providing shower and separate bath facilities.
Outside there are gardens front and rear with side gates to offer safety and privacy. The front drive is gated and provides ample parking for many cars. The kitchen space opens out onto a large patio with garden furniture and BBQ to appreciate the Irish sunshine! The garden also hosts a variety of children's activities e.g. trampoline; swings; slide; soccer goals; bikes and playhouse.
My name is Clíodhna Devlin. I am a 49 years old primary school teacher working in the town where I was reared myself. I am married to Colm and we have 4 beautiful children aged 17; 15; 12 and 10 years old, two boys and two girls. We have lived here at Balreask Old for 15 years and are very happy raising our family here in the environs of a great town and adjacent to super neighbours.
We love going on holidays and are looking forward immensely to pursuing a trip to Florida, the sunshine state!
