About our home
Modern family home with 3 bedrooms, two double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom (children's bedroom with 1 double bed + 1 cot bed and a sofa bed).
Open plan kitchen + island / living space. A second separate TV/PIANO room and a toy room for the little ones.
We are a 50min bus ride from Dublin City Centre / 25 mins if drive from the center (unfortunately the bus takes a bit long but if you decide to drive instead its a short and pleasant drive). The bus stop is literally outside the house (2 min walk) with the night bus also stopping outside our home until 4 am.
Rathcoole hosts one of Ireland's most exclusive restaurants and stores AVOCA, a designer store with an in house restaurant and coffee shop (15 walk from the house).
The house has a beautiful mountain view that is great for hikes, mountain biking and even a bit of fresh air if needed.
There is a garden at the rear of the house with swings for the kids. There is a;so a big public park/green with lakes and ducks 15 mins away from the house and several other parks in the area for people with children. There is a nearby supermarket and shops only 5 mins walk from the house.
Car swap is possible as there are several beautiful neighboring counties. We are only 7 mins away from the M50, the road that surrounds Dublin from north to south so the house is in an ideal location if you are looking to be in the city with a feeling of not being in the middle of it.
The house is child friendly. If you need a babysitter, we can recommend our local and trusted babysitter.
Theres are also bikes to rent 5 mins walk from the house http://bleeperbike.com/ and the luas (local tram to city) is a 25 min walk approximately.
Kildare Village luxury brand outlet shopping is a short drive. The airport is a 25 minute drive.
If you play golf there are a number of Golf courses within 10 minutes of the house. The Kay Club (Ireland's top golf course) is a 15 minute drive.
We are also a 20 minute drive from Castletown House Castletown Celbridge, County Kildare, which is a Palladian country house built in 1722 for William Conolly, the Speaker of the Irish House of Commons. It formed the centrepiece of a 550-acre estate

We live in a small neighbourhood, 5 mins walk from the bus stop which will bring you to Dublin City Centre. We are also less than a 10 minute walk from local amenities, bars, restaurants, cafe, and local supermarket.
Theres are bikes to rent 5 mins walk from the house http://bleeperbike.com/ and the luas (local tram to city) is a 25 min walk approximately.
We are also a short walk from the Dublin mountains where you can enjoy many hiking trails overlooking Dublin City. If you play golf there are a number of Golf courses within 10 minutes of the house. The Kay Club (Irelands top golf course) is a 15 minute drive.
We are situated on the N7 Motorway, which is the main connection to the South of the country from Dublin. We are also beside County Kildare which is famous for its aincent history, castles, toumbs and rearing world class horses.
