“May 2018. We agreed an non simultaneous exchange last year with Barry and Linda but only got to take our trip this May. All communication went smoothly and the house was ready for our arrival. Although the house has a cottage look it is surprisingly large inside and was perfect for our family. Portmagee is ideally located on the ring of Kerry and central for excursions on the Iveragh Peninsula, and Killarney. Our kids enjoyed climbing Carrauntoohil Ireland's highest mountain but it is not for the fainthearted. A short walk away is Kerry's spectacular cliffs and Bray Head on Valentia island is a nice walk on a clear day. It had been a few years since we were in Kerry and had forgotten how beautiful the Mountains and landscape really are. We would recommend Kerry as a destination and Barry and Linda's home in Portmagee. Thanks for the great exchange.”
