About our home

Our house on the River Dodder in Dublin City (south) is the ideal base for you to visit Dublin city attractions (e.g. Trinity College, Guinness brewery, Dublin Castle and the Chester Beatty library, Viking Splash tour etc). Or, simply relax and spot lots of nature (squirrels, herons, ducks etc. live here). Beautiful setting - overlooking a waterfall -there is no shortage of stunning walks and parks. Great if you love nature photography and fishing.

Recently refurbished, our 3-bed house has everything you need (modern kitchen, wifi, washing machine and dryer). With 1 double and 2 single rooms, it suits 4 persons comfortably. The upstairs office can easily be transformed into a bedroom so the house can up to 5 persons (just ask!). Parking to the front and a large south-facing enclosed back garden.

15 minutes drive to St Stephen Green in Dublin city centre.
Frequent buses to Dublin city centre. Bus No. 16 goes straight to Dublin airport (1 hour ride) or it is a 25 minute drive.
Short (10 minute) walk to the villages of Terenure and Rathfarmham and Rathgar which have great pubs, restaurants, cafes, shopping and every amenity.

We are close to the M50 motorway which allows for quick access to all parts of the Ireland.
Dundrum Town Centre – Ireland biggest shopping centre - is an 8 minute drive. It has everything under one roof (great on a rainy day): food shopping (huge Tesco, Marks & Spencers); cinemas; clothes (high street and designer shops); and great cafes and restaurants (Mao, Milanos, Wagamama).
