About our home

Urban cosy apartment 2 rooms + shower room (attached to our house) sleeps 2/3, very modern with own entrance and 2 gardens. Fitted kitchen in main room. Near centre of Dublin. 30 mins walk to city centre or 10 mins on bus. Easy access to airport and port. Adjacent to river Liffey.

We are a family of 4, myself Penny and my husband John and two teenagers (age 14 and 15) with a cocker spaniel. We have lived in this house for 13 years and love the location, although it is not a posh area it is sought out for its central location with a lovely park and easy transport. We have never done house exchange before and love the idea.

Inner city neighbourhood. Garden, front and back with access to public park with two childrens playgrounds, tennis courts and football pitches. Adjacent to O2 concert venue and brand new cinema complex, 15 minute walk to AVIVA stadium for concerts and international rugby matches. Beside the river Liffey, walking distance to city centre where there are endless things to do... shops, clubs, pubs, restaurants, galleries, museums etc. (30 minute walk along the river) Public transport easily accessible 5 minute walk to bus stop, 10 minute walk to LUAS station and a 15 minute walk to dart station, which takes you into the centre or out to the seaside and the beautiful mountains of Wicklow. Superb location for walking, easy access to everything without a car needed! (Car available if required)
