About our home

Our home is a four bedroom bungalow set in a quiet rural area in the centre of Ireland. Located only 2km from Roscrea town (which has a shopping, sports and other facilities) all areas of Ireland are easily accessible. The house has four bedrooms (one ensuite), one bathroom, kitchen/dining area and living room. A large garden, barbeque area and organic vegetable patch surround the property and a wonderful walking route through woods is available just 5 minutes from the house.

More about us

  1. We are a family with four children and one dog. Tara the dog (our first child!!) keeps us on our toes. Ciara (6), Darragh (4), Emer (3) and Saoirse 16 months) keep us occupied. Aileen (house wife) and Seamus (Lecturer and Project Manager) have travelled extensively throughout the world and are keen to ensure that our children love to travel and meet new people and get to know and experience new cultures and parts of the world.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The house is located on a quiet rural lane with lots of friendly neighbours. Lots of rural experiences to be had including horse riding, walking and gardening available. The M8 motorway is only 15 minutes away so access to Limerick City (45 mins) and Dublin (1.5 hrs) is easy. Most parts of Ireland can be reached within 2 hours from our house. Birr and Roscrea are vibrant rural towns with lots of facilities and the Shannon river is within 30 mins drive
