The house itself is very comfortable with many period features that make it a charming place to live. There are three bedrooms that sleep six people (One Super King bed in the master bedroom and two queen beds in the other two bedrooms). There is also a studio that could be turned into a fourth bedroom on request.
“We done an exchange for a long weekend. It was great. Sandymount is a great place to stay as it's really nice and its very easy to get into the city. The house is gorgeous and really comfortable. It has everything that you would need. The family we exchanged with were easy to communicate with and helpful. Thank you.”
We are a family of three. I work as a staff writer and my husband Dave is a musician. Our daughter Clara Rose is three but don't hold that against her! She is very well behaved. Should you need a cot or child's bed that can be made available also.
Our quaint Victorian home is located in the seaside village of Sandymount. Dublin 4 is one of Dublin's most exclusive areas and although it's just a ten minute drive to Dublin's city center, this area also boasts seaside walks along Dublin bay and some fine beaches. There are also a number of good restaurants, cafes and cozy pubs. There are great transport links into the city center (bus stop outside the door and the DART (train) a short stroll away).
