About our home

Our modern spacious family home is situated in a quiet cul de sac and within 15 mins walk of the beach. It is a 10mins walk to the train which can bring you to Dublin City Centre in 40 mins and all along the Dublin Bay coastline to various lovely locations and towns. We are 10mins walk to the local village of Shankill which has coffee shops, bakery, local grocery shops and a pub/restaurant.
We are 5 mins walk from bus routes which can bring you to the city centre and many other attractions in Dublin.
Our house has been recently renovated and is very bright and spacious. A large kitchen and dining area with big sliding door which leads on to a deck and into the back garden which has outdoor furniture and barbecue. Large living room with an open fire, SMART TV with Sky and Netflix. Playroom with couch TV and games console PS4. Downstairs toilet. Utility room off the kitchen and storage area with 5 bikes (4 adult and 1 child) and 3 scooters. Trampoline in the front garden.
Upstairs there is one double bedroom to the rear, one triple bedroom (Bunk Bed, double on bottom and single on top) to the front available and a bathroom with separate bath and shower. On the third level there is another double bedroom with an ensuite with shower.
To the front of the house there is a large green area where kids can play. We have goal nets and also a box of balls and other toys in the front garden for outdoor play.

Buzzy restaurants
Favourite family favourites are Platform Pizza in Bray which is just one stop away on the train and Neon, a very casual Asian restaurant on Camden street in the city centre. As a couple Hartleys in Dunlaoghaire is a special treat. The local restaurant/wine bar is a regular of ours as a couple and with friends.
Cool bars
The local pub Bradys in Shankill has entertainment at weekends. The Harbour Bar in Bray also has a number of festivals and music at the weekends and week nights in the summer. The local theatres in Bray and Dunlaoghaire have a good selection of shows. Local cinemas in Dunlaoghaire and Stillorgan are also good for a quiet night out.
Cozy cafés
Maison Moli in Bray. Avoca cafe in Kilmacanogue. Within walking distance Whelehans and Cafe one. Bakelicious in shankill, french bakery but only take out. Gourmet Parlour Dunlaoghare good to brunch. Lighthouse cafe in cherrywood during the week for breakfast.
Retail therapy
Tesco In Ballybrack. Lidl in Bray or Sallynoggin. Aldi in Sallynoggin. For everyday items local tesco express and Spar.
