About our home

We offer a large 4,500 sq ft home which is newly built. Very bright and clean and wonderfully decorated. It is a very comfortable house with lots of rooms so you don't feel crowded. We have a home cinema with 92' screen. Home entertainment system that suits all iPods! Speakers outside also. Great neighbours. Large kitchen dining room family room and Sunroom utility room with washer and dryer. Other side of house large formal living room (not too formal) with fireplace and 42' fiat screen home office and cinema room. Upstairs 5 bedrooms all ensuite.
Outside large patio fab to sit out in summer. We have a fruit orchard with apple and plum trees a tree house and a large front garden.

More about us

We are John and Annmarie married for 21 years with 3 teenage children. Shauna 19 Aidan 17 and Kaitlyn 15. We lived in NY for 14 years and came home to Ireland 15 years ago to raise our children. I love where we live but I also love NY. My husband John is working and living in NY for the past year so we are doing a lot of travelling back and forth. We will be spending our summer 2013 and 2014 in NY so would love to explore areas within a 4 hr drive of NY either for a couple of weeks or long weekends. We are flexible around the summer months of July and August. We would be open to NY NJ CT MA or Florida for 2014. If you want to come to Ireland this is a fab area. We have great neighbours who can pop in if needed. Feel free to contact me.

Where is it?

We are in the perfect location for touring Ireland or just stay locally as plenty to see and do. We are a 20 mins drive from Dublin airport and Dublin City Center. We live in a picturesque village called Straffan CoKildare who have recently won prizes for tidy towns. If you like golf we are walking distance to the KClub golf and spa. It has hosted the Ryder Cup and 13 European opens. Voted in the top 10 course by CNN. Great place to eat also. We are also beside Barbarstown Castle which is a great place to enjoy afternoon tea. The village has a steam museum,a butterfly farm and a country pub with lots of Guiness !! Abbeyfieldfarm is 2 mins away with horse riding and clay pidgeon shooting.
We have Lyons Estate nearby 5 mins drive.
We are 2 hrs drive from the West 3 hrs from the south and 2 hrs from the North so very centrally located.
