“We thoroughly enjoyed the week we spent at Roisin's home in June. The house is clean, modern, well equipped and spacious enough for a group much larger than ours; we were only two. The large windows allow you to appreciate some of the incredible beauty of the Dingle Peninsula. You need to go outside 'tho to experience the incredible, almost dreamlike beauty of the peninsula. We took several hikes, including the peak of Mt. Brandon, looking down the green mountain slope, taking in the panorama of the oceans, the cliffs, the towering clouds. I've never seen anything like it, and it lessens the need to hop in the car and drive anywhere else; although we did spend two wonderful days in Dublin at the beginning of our trip. We saw a number of local sights, including the ruins of a medieval church. Of course, we visited the pubs, for the Guinness, the music and conversing with the townfolk. On the evening of our departure, we witnesses the most magnificent rainbow I have ever seen. ”
