Where is it?

Our home is located a mere 35 minutes from Dublin in the picturesque heritage town of Trim, County Meath. We are situated just a 2min walk from the Knightsbrook Hotel Spa & Golf Resort which is fast becoming one of the most popular hotels in Ireland.

A leisurely walk along the banks of the River Boyne will take you into Trim town. Trim, a designated heritage town, is renowned as one of Ireland's most beautiful towns and has something to offer everyone. With the largest and most impressive Norman castle in Ireland, King John's Castle, the intriguing Yellow Steeple, beautiful streets, parks and walks, summertime floral displays, it is a haven of relaxation and tranquillity. County Meath is known as the Royal County and was once the territory of the High Kings of Ireland. The abundance of historical monuments within its boundaries today testifies to the ancient importance of the region. Virtually every important aspect of Irish history from prehistoric times is associated with the Boyne Valley in County Meath.

Dublin City is easily accessed by private car,, taxi or coach (coach stop 5-10min walk from our house with regular service of coaches running pretty much every hour into the city).

There is so much to do very close by. Whether you are into golf, horse riding, swimming, tennis, walking, fishing, cycling, visiting ancient ruins or going on guided historical tours, theres something for everyone.
