About our home

Our home was completely refurbished and extended in 2014. It's a modern family home, open plan living, in the heart of Terenure village. A host of restaurants, coffee shops and bars literally on the doorstep. There's a south facing garden and a treehouse.
Terenure is about 3 miles from Dublin city centre, there are lots of buses serving the village, about 15 minutes journey into the centre of town.

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
Dublin has lots of great places to eat to suit, from casual bites to Mitchelin star. There are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk - everything from pizza, to sushi, to pub grub, Thai, Indian, and some great bistros. Our personal favourites in the neighborhood are: The Lovely Food Co., Bijou, Pizza Revolution and Mayfield.
Cool bars
Famous for it's bars and nightlife, you won't be short of somewhere to visit. In the neighborhood there's a great wine bar called The Green Bar, a whiskey bar in The Terenure Inn, great range of beers in the 108 - just to name a few..
Cozy cafés
Check out The Lovely Food Co., Grind & Grub, and the latest addition Foam.
Retail therapy
There are a few boutiques, shoe shops, book shops and shopping areas galore within a 10 minutes drive
Bit of culture
Where to start, Dublin is the perfect location to base yourself for a trip to Ireland. We are a 10 minute journey away from Dublin city, with sights such as Trinity College, Guinness Brewery, St Stephen's Green, National Gallery, Christchurch Cathedral, St Patrick's Cathedral, Museum Modern Art, Kilmainham Gaol - the list goes on
Walks in the park
Check out Bushy Park - about 5 minutes walk from the house, perfect place to relax and unwind: tennis courts, nice walk ways, a pond, playground…Or hop in the car to Marlay Park or Phoenix Park
Spot of exercise
Walking, running, cycling, tennis, rugby, GAA - it's all on your doorstep in Terenure
Day tripping
A little further afield are sights of Powerscourt, Glendalough, National Botanical Gardens, Kilruddery House & Gardens,
