About our home

My lovely architect-designed duplex is about ten years old and features an open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge, one double bedroom, one single bedroom and a bathroom on the first floor. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. On one side of the master bedroom, ranch sliders lead to a small balcony (great for sunny evening drinks) overlooking the well-kept, private shared garden you can use. On the other side, a glass door opens on to a much larger private terrace (perfect for alfresco meals, or sunbathing) with views across the green to distant Dublin Bay and the Wicklow mountains. It is generally very quiet and peaceful, apart from children playing in the very safe private garden. By car, it's 5 minutes to the beach, 15 minutes to Howth fishing village for walks and great restaurants, 5 minutes to the nearest supermarket and about 30 minutes into Dublin city centre for shopping, theatre and great food. A DART (city train) station is 5 minutes walk and there are bus stops nearby. The duplex is on the third floor - no lift, sorry. Private car park available. (Possible car swap.) Baldoyle is a residential suburb near the sea. close to the airport and the M50 motorway for easy access to other parts of Ireland.
