More about us

  1. We are a married couple in our early forties, Pat is self-employed and I, Anne am full-time at home. We have 2 boys, Tom and Josh 16, 9 and Sarah is 14. We visited Muret in Toulouse and had a lovely exchange and found it an amazing way to see another country. We want our kids to grow up with an appreciation of different countries, languages, culture and landscapes. You can be assured that we will treat your home as our own and would expect same from our exchange guests. We also have a 6 yr old springer spaniel dog Oscar who lives outside and is very independent and creates his own exercise!

Neighbourhood

We live in a quiet rural area less than a 5 minute drive to Tralee town which is famous for its International Rose of Tralee Festival in August. We are close to Blennerville with its pretty windmill which is the opening route to the Dingle Peninsula with its stunning landscape and amazing beaches. Killarney is 30 kms away http://www.killarney.ie which is known worldwide for its lakes and national park. The Ring of Kerry is an amazing drive and the scenery breath-taking. Tralee town also has a beautiful town-park, a sports complex, library, and farmers Market every Saturday. Tralee is 1.5 hrs drive from Cork city and Limerick city which are both steeped in Irish History.
