About our home

Bungalow of double block construction with converted attic. Upstairs has 2 large carpetted bedrooms with walk-in-robes. Downstairs has a master bedroom with ensuite and walk-in-robe, another bedroom/computer room, the main bathroom with bath and separate shower, a large kitchen with breakfast bar and adjoining dining room, separate utility (laundry)with washer, dryer, storage (hot press)and freezer. The large sitting (lounge) room has an open fireplace. All floors downstairs are timber or tile with underfloor, thermostatically controlled, central heating.

We are Grant (engineer) & Lesley (Montessori teacher) with two children, Ronan 15 & Jenna 13, and Jett, the cat (who will be looked after by family while we are away).

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Located up a short lane off the road so there is little noise in the secluded garden. Near to the town centre. Ocean and beach views. Tramore (Tra Mhor) is a picturesque seaside town situated south of Waterford. We are in the sunny south-east of Ireland. Tramore boasts a recently renovated 27 hole golf course, tennis courts (5 mins walk) and swimming areas - Tramore beach (5 mins walk), Splashworld (a public indoor recreation pool with slides, 10 mins walk), and Newtown cove (15 mins walk). Surf schools at Tramore beach. Horse riding and trekking is available in the area. 15 minutes from Waterford city centre where the famous Waterford Crystal factory is located (tours available) and other historic attractions. A sailing club is located at nearby Dunmore East. Good restuarants and pubs in the town (a short walk).
