Our home is a traditional Irish cottage, beside a lake, in a country setting, surrounded by farmland. We commute to Dublin city centre every day from our home - we have nearby access to a motorway and train station.
The house is comfortable and welcoming. There are secure gates, there is ample parking. We have a BBQ, Smoker, outdoor toys. We have a large grassy area and private access to the lake. The house has two double bedrooms, lots of wardrobe space. We have one bathroom, lots of hot water always, bath, shower, heated towel rail. We have two leather reclining couches, lots of books, lots of toys, cable TV - Sky and Sky Sports, broadband and telephone. Our kitchen is well equipped, lots of baking stuff, food processor, mixer, juicer, slow cooker, fridge, freezer, oven, grill, toaster, kettle, hob. We have a washing maching/tumble dryer and iron.
We are a couple who love to travel. We have visited Africa, Canada, the USA, South America, Australia and Asia. We also travel extensively throughout Europe. We always enjoy coming home to our welcoming and cosy cottage and getting away from it all. We welcomed our son in August 2014 and we look forward to showing him the world. We will respect your home and we will be glad to advise you on how to make your trip to Ireland a memorable one.
We live in a rural area, on the shore of a lake, there are lots of walks around the lake. In summer there is water skiing, wake boarding, banana boating on the lake. We live beside a traditional Irish pub. A car would be necessary.
Dublin is very close, 39km or 24 miles - 30 minutes drive on the M3 motorway which is just minutes from our door. Dublin is also accessible by train from Dunboyne and the M3 Parkway - 55 minutes from train to Dublin city centre.
