About our home

Our lovely renovated 1910 home is located 5 mins walk from the town centre of historical Waterford. Perfect for a base to tour Ireland and has our 2 bed house has a cute Bijou feel. Enjoy coffee on the deck before you head out to explore the beaches only 15 mins away or a walk on the river.
Theres one bouble bedroom downstairs as well as an extra single bed upstairs.
The house was owned by a reknown carpenter engineer who lovingly built the unique staircase which brings you to the top floor.
Its been a labour of love to bring this lovely home to modern standards.

Neighbourhood

Waterford is Irelands first city which dates back to Viking times. The city is easy to walk around as its centre is car free beautifully cobbled pedestrian space to ramble. The Apple Market is an area where free concerts events are put on over the summer months.
Waterford prides itself on the arts history Music and food with so many great places to visit and see.

There are too many to mention as Waterford is a culinary delight. Wine bars gastro pubs and tapas restaurants a plenty
Cool bars
Many pubs and live traditional music as well as free outdoor music. We have a lovely theatre venue and cinemas.
Cozy cafés
Cafe Nero and the Granery, there are so many to relax and enjoy coffee or a bite.
Retail therapy
Centre of town as many independent shops as well as a mall.
Bit of culture
Vikings quarter and the History Museum. Viking museum is wonderful and interactive.
Walks in the park
Walk around the city or rent a bike in the town to venture out on the Greenway which if ambitious is a 42k designed walking biking route to Dungarvan town.
Spot of exercise
Waterford Greenway and Tramore beach and sand dunes
Day tripping
Ardmore , Kilkenny , Cork and Tramore beach are easily accessable... plus many more small towns and cities. So many places to visit depending on what your looking for.
